My seizures consist of turning to my left and left hand usually clenches. Sometimes my left arm will have a myoclonic type of jerk and sometimes makes me feel like i'm about to go into a seizure.
Now my left arm and side of body has started to feel weird, like disconnected from my body. I wouldn't say it's numb, but feels "off" and makes me nervous of continuously having "i'm abut to have a seizure" feeling. I'll tell my neuro at my next visit, but of course that's not til next wednesday.
Just wondering if people have parts of their bodies feel "out of place"?

when I have a seizure, the left side of my body, which starts with my left hand and foot feels like pins and needles are attacking it, and then spreads up my entire body, til it reaches my head, where by that time, my head turn to the right, and the roof of my mouth feels like there are a million needles attacking it. I begin to stiffen and jerk for a minute or two. Im aware of whats going on, what people are saying or doing, I just cant respond or do anything til the seizure is over. I have simple partial seizures, but have had complex partials and grand mal seizures too, since being dx'd with epilepsy at 18 months old.

My sensation in my skin is dulled. Very hard to explain, but it has been a consistent in the last 3 years. Usually when I am having more convulsions. Just can't feel much detail in what im touching. Kind of like my skin is covered in something. No one has figured out what this is a result of. Just one of unusual things that happens I guess. Hope they can figure out what the deal is for you though.
