I am just wondering if anyone else likes this story?

I never used to. I can remember reading a plot somewhere and even listening to some of the music, and it just didn't appeal to me what so ever

As the characters sang I just thought what is it.. some opera or something?. This sounds so dull!

Currently I'm listening to a radio adaptation of the story (over three weeks), and I actually really like it.

Would I listen again?. Probably not
But the characters have been bought to life in such a way it's actually quite easy to follow and enjoy and I've actually made it to episode 11. (surprised myself!)
 
So I finished listening to the story.

It was quite the disappointing ending. Very rushed I thought, and it left me with a lot of questions about the other characters future.

It's a shame, because the rest of it was done so well.. a lot of it is really memorable
