Fascinating!! Kinda neat that this lion's brother keeps a watchful eye on him until he comes out of it.
 
Too bad some animals suffer from E. :(

We had a 'bouvier des Flandres' dog with severe epilepsy, 28 years ago, long before we had kids. She had horrifying grand mals. We needed to stick a base ball bat between her teeth to prevent her biting off her tongue. She was treated with phenobarbital and sometimes the vet needed to give her a shot of valium to stop her seizing. Finally we had the vet to put her down when her seizures got totally out of hand. Thanks to her we recognized seizures when our son started to have them.
