I've tried writting to The Chamber of Commerence, To The Epilepsy Foundation, To Any Local Place Around My Neighborhood & I Can't get any HELP or response & or responses on where I can go to meet NEW people. Since i'm in a situation that I have to either walk it or depend on a person near by BUT I can't DEPEND on HER much. My Fiancee has no car hers died 5 or 6 years ago . So both her & I are mainly depending on 1 person but that only hits at The Begining of each month (PAYDAY, RENT , Groceries) But other than the first week of each month I'm basicly stuck at home . Of course I can go for walks but that only works on nice warm days & it's winter now. . . Brrrrr. I Do Have oneway around other than walking but thats only when my doctor appointments hit & thats by the local shuttle thats covered under PASSPORT HEALTHPLAN . Other than that i'm stuck at home & the shuttle charges $14.00 roundtrip for NONMEDICAL trips & I'm the ONLY income here at my appartment as of now so money is tight after paying rent & buying groceries & paying other bills. Anything can help so please send some ADVICE myway Thank You DAVE from Kentucky

Hi, Dave

Have you tried contacting your mayor or tried placing a request in your local newspaper in the 'Situations Wanted' section of the Classified Ads? These are the 2 suggestions I have to offer --- if I think of more, I'll let you know. And, I know this may be difficult, but if you have the will, there's always a way. Take care, Dave. ~Ann

I have recently learned of an online support called Meet Up.
You find others in your area with similar interests, or create your own Meet Up.
I just found two that I am going to attend in March, both ART related.

Check it out:
