So its been awhile,

So i figure its time for some updates:

Keppra is still at 2000mg a day
topamax by next week is gone
lyrica hopefully gone by the 22nd since its had no effect
tried klonopin didnt help slept all day could function

seizures have been slowed down, had a nocturnal one when i woke up this morning, so reset again.

On the 29th I have a 24hour VEEG, and after that another test (always fun) a EVP for optic neuritis
So anothe eeg but will see how this one will come back.

haven't been able to sit up and sit at the computer after my spinal tap on the 7th so i havent been able to update ya'll on how i've been.

Hope everyone has been well.

Mike

Hi Mike, thanks for the updates!

I'm sorry the spinal tap knocked you flat; they can definitely be unpleasant. Post-spinal tap is the one time when it's good to drink a lot of caffeine drinks -- along with other fluids, they can help to reduce the nasty headaches.

thanks naka,

1 week i was out, and then had to get a blood patch to stop the migraine, and now having other issues from the spinaltap, and now that the topamax is being reduced i worry about (but dont at the same time) my seizures starting, even tho the keppra was the one med that stopped them the most.

Mike
