The last few times I've had a seizure I've lost weight. I am trying to loose weight, trying the Keto diet watching what I eat, but I haven't lost as much in one day as I do after a seizure. I had a seizure last month and lost about 4lbs, a little more than I'd usually loose in one day depending on what I've ate. I had a seizure this morning I had a seizure and weighed myself and I'd lost 10lbs! That's never as much as I've ever lost in one day. I didn't eat much yesterday but I still ate enough not to loose 10lbs.

Has this happened to anyone else?

Hi Val,

I've lost 6 lbs. in a week on the keto diet but I've never lost weight after a seizure. I know that once the ketones build up
in the body that's when the weight started to come off of me.
Wishing you only the best and May God Bless You,

Sue

Interesting. I have never lost weight after a seizure either. Now that I am way past menopause it is hard to lose weight on any diet, plus doctor is suggesting to me that there are newer weight guidelines for seniors that allow a few more pounds.
