memory remedy melody enemy

ok but im confused about when short term memory becomes long term memory

or if they are two/always different things.

see do you put something into your short term memory (STM) then wait a certain period, let's say 3 years and then does it appear in the long term memory (LTM) ???

or do you dodgy STMies only and only remember things from before you had dodgy STMies

or would complete STM damage be pretty much impossible... because both STM/LTM damage = alzheimer's --yeah?

so you have probably 30% damaged STM and it's good and it's bad but you can't choose what it's good for and when it lets you down?

memory is so the annoying

Ummmm - Just not to confuse
those who are going for vEEG
and wonders why Bernard's posting
LTM and STM?

LTM - Long Term Monitoring (typically
4 days or longer)

STM - Short Term Monitoring (typically
2-3 days)

Now in regards with MEMORY revolving
around with Epilepsy it is possible for one
to remember or recollect in details of Long
Ago, but unable to remember or recollect
of anything Short Term.

I have this difficulties. And it is possible to
not have any memory or recollection of
anything of that specific period or time
frame. It all depends on the area of your
brain that is affected.

Your Neurologist / Epileptologist / Brain
Surgeon is best to discuss this matter
with you more in depth and details.

I clearly explained what the acronyms meant in the context of my post. I was responding to 1096's post. It helps if you sort the posts from oldest to newest...
