October 10 .... big day for me.
Well, a big day in my life is hard to find.
Oct 10, 2005, was the first big testing episode, long drive to hospital - PET, long, long MRI then getting taped uo and put to bed for a VEEG.
What REALLY counts is I did not smoke that day. For over 20 years I'd been a very heavy smoker - at least 3 packs a day - and I loved every cigarette. I was a dedicated, happy smoker.
But I lived through the VEEG so I haven't had a cigarette since then.
