Hi guys,

Oh yeah, I had a question. I live in the Philippines right? I can buy with ease because I have my prescription in hand. Now, with that in mind, I want to know: what can you advise when I plan to travel to other countries? Should I buy a lot of meds before I go? Or should I have my doctor make a prescription to authorize me to go buy in other countries? Any comments are appreciated. Thanks.

I suppose it would depend on which country you are planning to travel to and how long for. I think your best bet would be just to ask your doctor for his opinion, he would be able to give you the best advice.

My neuro will prescribe an extra month's worth of my med, so that I'll have back up when I travel. He has also prescribed Ativan, to us if I had a seizure but wasn't near a hospital.

Most prescriptions are only valid in that country (though I"m not sure about the EU) so I would suggest getting a sufficient amount before you leave.

I always carry in my pocket & little pillbox with 2 or 3 days of extra medications just in case I can't get back to where my meds are.
