Hi. everybody. Just one question - i react to a really big changing in air pressure, solar activity and just changing temperature too quickly (in a few hours). When it starts, and i feel it already in the morning, I just take 10 mg of clobazam and sleep for a couple of hours. If I am lucky I then spend the evening more or less OK, but there are days when the evening is also bad. My neuro advised my to take one more valproate chrono, which i do sometimes. Perhaps somebody heard something those things? I never found really serious researches in this field.
In those awful days take care everybody

Hi Alice,
I was on the valporate for yrs. and I had to go off of it. I almost bled to death because the drug lowered my platlet level
so low plus the drug can damage the liver.
What's going on with you is when there's a change in the air pressure or solar activity this is bothering your hormones
which in turn can trigger seizures. Also take note if you have more seizures in the fall and winter compared to the spring
and summer. If you do you are having "seasonal seizures" and the seizures are happening because of the lack of serotonin
in the fall and winter or to much in the spring and summer. Try taking vitamin B12 1000 mcg. once a day and see if that
helps the B12 helps calm the nervous system and it would be better than the valproate which is a form of acid.
Wishing you only the best and May God Bless You,

Sue

My dear Sue, thanks a lot, but valproate is the only thing that really helps, and believe me i tried them all!! I have an extremely good GP and also neuro, they test my liver and all the rest. B 12 i have regularly, along with many other things. About seizures - they are bad, but sort of special and it will take too long to describe. I already asked but never found anyone with this type.
You are nice as usual,
take care
