This should be helpful for me. I hope to be helpful as well. As of this moment I am trying to be positive. I have had no seizures for a month now. I had started keppra about two months ago. Prior to this I was having seizures. I was taking both depakote and lamictal. I have just been weened off of depakote. I now am taking 1000 mgs of keppra and 250 mgs of llamictal. As of this writing I am trying to have hope that I will remain seizure free.

Hi Pdubau

It is great that you are staying positive and have been seizure free for a month, it sounds like Keppra must be working for you.

Welcome to CWE, it is a great place for info and support

Take care

Glad you are here among friends.

Sometimes (most times) we have to live in the NOW.

If the now is great then GREAT!!

If the now is :soap: then, maybe the next "NOW" will be better!!

You encouraged ME!!

THANKS for joining us!!

Hi pdubau :hello: Welcome to CWE!!!

You came to the right place to find encouragement, support, and hope in this moment and in those to come. It's great to have you here. I'm sure you will be a great inspiration to all of us.

Feel free to check out the forums. There's a lot of information on ways you can be proactive in each and every moment. You may be able to help your seizure threshold rise by natural and nutritional methods. It would be great to watch another month go by without a seizure. :)

Hi pdubau, welcome to the forum. :hello:

Changing meds is always an anxious process. No seizures for a month is a great milestone. I hope you get to celebrate many more consecutive milestones. :)

Make yourself at home here @ CWE.

Hi pdubau! I also wanted to welcome you to the group and wish you continued good luck with the med change.
