I’m slightly envious of people who have the willpower to stick to a healthy mindfulness morning routine.
I’ve read some articles and would like to try some of these ideas when I wake up.

- Spend one minute thinking about gratitude
- No TV
- 33oz water
- Journaling for 5 minutes (something I’ve never tried)
- Meditate
- Yoga
- Exercise
- Shower and get dressed.

Need to try something as I’m sitting here with another cup of coffee, bored and unmotivated. Sharing my thoughts with you kind people. This is the closest thing I have to journaling now that I think about it.
I hope you all have a peaceful day. ❤️

How'd your day go?

I tell ya what, I teach preschool and I've had summer off until todays 8:30am welcome back staff meeting. Rude awaking...I've been staying up until 2am and waking up at 10am or later. I tossed and turned most of the night. But hey, I'm up to date on my cpr training. 😂

These are all ideas CathyAnn by extremely motivated individuals. They set the morning alarm a hour earlier to get all of that done.
I didn’t have any seizures or need cpr. So my day was great.😁
My morning routine stayed the same.
Turn on the tv news
coffee and a muffin
ZYN nicotine pouch
💩
Smoke some THC or back to bed
Another cup of coffee and a ZYN
Start my house husband chores.

One big problem here is I need to continue with the addictions throughout the day. Otherwise long naps, and bad sleep habits.

It’s gotten me a long way, but:🫤
There is obviously healthier ways of with life, and all the “mild” seizure medication side effects.
Look at me journaling 😅

I get up in the morning and eat breakfast, then I read my Bible, hit the shower and on the go for
most of the day cleaning the house or writing letters to family and friends and putting them in
the mailbox like the good old days. I also like to take the time and go for walks when the
weather is good or do my gardening. I saw how my Great Grandma lived to be 93 yrs. old
and she sewed and baked from scratch each and every day.

Wishing you only the best of luck and May God Bless You!

Hi kev
My day depends on what I'm doing
If Its a work day I'm up at 5:45, showered and dressed.

I go out to lounge room and uncover my 2 birds, have breakfast and my coffee.
I turn the radio on while having breakfast and have a quick look on my iPad before work.
Brush teeth etc

The radio is left on during the day for the birds lol

If its a nice day I walk to the bus stop and am out the door by 6:45 as I allow 40 Mins to get to main street. Otherwise taxi
Get the 7:30 bus to work.

Im more motivated when I'm working lol

I only work 3 days so the other 2 days I do errabds . Weekends I relax and do some housework

I always have the radio on for most of the day, tend to watch programs on my iPad and not TV.

On weekends I sleep in and tend to have a nap.

I need to get back to work for many reasons.
A routine is one

Thanks

I forgot meds lol

I’m a lot more lazier then what I was.
I used to go for a walk every morning but now due to depression and aches I don’t walk as much as I did.

I still walk to appts when needed but don’t go for relaxing walks

You’ll get there, it takes time and you just need to do it at your own pace

I have always been someone that wakes up early in the morning, between 5 and 6 am. Very first thing that gets done is making coffee, then morning news is turned on. I wait having a cup of java in hand before looking at my online calendar and the morning's schedule. In many situations, I will know the night before if there is something going on (business meeting, doctor's visit, etc.) for a morning schedule so I can always meet something on time and I am early to a meeting.

As for my meditation time, I prefer to do this in the evening as that is my time. After 7pm, my smart phone gets turned on Do Not Disturb mode until a specific time in the morning so the only persons that can reach me are those on my emergency list. By turning off my phone it has allowed me to relax and recharge.

I get up REALLY early--around 4-4:15am. It's important in summer, since sunrise is so early, and our morning prayers are said between dawn & sunrise. I make tea in a large thermal mug and eat breakfast around 5am. My husband is up by 5:45 on weekdays. That's when I boil eggs for each of us.

I've been getting up about 4:30 am these days as the heart beta blocker is putting me to sleep a little bit earlier than I'm use to. It's only a 1/2 hour early but still trying to get accustom to it.

I just had a nice shower and some grapes for breakfast.

I got myself this new portable fan recently, and it's so nice on my face. It comes in three settings, and the third setting is the best!.

I have stopped doing my daily crossword which is huge for me.

I used to do it all the time after breakfast without fail, but now I can no longer be bothered because I constantly fail at it

Still trying to get used to not doing it..
