It seems like I have had more muscle twitches lately. It's not just in one part of my body. It moves around.

How often to people without epilepsy experience this? Is every muscle twitch a seizure?

im not by any means an expert but i wouldnt say every muscle twitch is a seizure, im only saying this as with the type of epilepsy i have comes 'twitching' in the arms and sometimes neck but they where more like sudden jerks, occasionally making me hit myself with food lol! i will say if you are worried i would see your doctor/consultant or neurologist. hope this helped xx

I experience this too but I'm not sure from what.
I tend to assume it's an epilelpsy related thing.
Maybe coffee too, but it's not a coffee jitters type of thing, it's a specific zap on a small area of muscle for just a split second.

For a while I was having times when my arm or leg would shake. I wouldn't call it a twitch, it would be a constant small shake that would go on for hours. It wasn't like a cold chill twitch.

When I had the first one it was so bad because my hole body was shaking. I thought I was having a grand mal, but I was completely aware of everything that was going on and knew who everyone was. These are things that happen when I have seizures. I went to the ER but the drs there couldn't figure out what was going on. A few hours later it stopped and they sent me home.

I asked my neuro about it and he said it wasn't seizure related. My PCP gave me some med for it, can't remember what though, and it really didn't help. I would get it every so often but nothing like the first one that I had. After about 6 months, maybe a little longer, it stopped. I haven't had it happen for a long time now (hopefully I won't jinx myself by saying that).

forgot to add, the twitches i had would be like my whole arm twitching incredibly quickly and it could happen countless times a day! strange thing is while this and my eyelid fluttering was happening i could continue walking around, talking and i thought i was fully conscious, turns out i wasnt conscious at all it was i was very briefly unconscious altogether, i remember one time i was walking down a street eating a pasty and i had a twitch and basically slapped myself in the face with a hot pasty...embarrassing but thank god no one was looking other than my boyfriend lmao!!xxx
