Hello, my name is Jackie, I am new to this site. My precious daughter, Amy passed away from a head injury seizure. I was not aware that seizures could kill you. I am foreven broken...just cry and cry then wait for sleep and begin again. Please all, watch over your children and be aware, ask the hard questions of their Doctors.

So sorry to hear about your daughter.

Very recently a member of this site passed away due to his seizures as well. Many people will be missing him too.

You are right though about asking the doctors questions.

I am truly sorry about your loss. As a mom of a daughter with a seizure disorder, it was never far away from my mind.
My sister lost a son (not seizure related) and I witnessed the utter sadness.

Robin, thank you for your kindness. No support to speak of, which is why I joined this group. Just watch your daughter closely, I do not want you to join this horrific group of mothers that have lost their child. Jackie

Hi Jackie, welcome to CWE -- though I am very sorry for the reason you are joining us. Losing a loving family member is never easy. Be well, and know that folks here offer support and understanding to you.
 
Hi Jackie. I am truly sorry to hear of the loss of your daughter. She is truly gone too soon.

I recently met another mother who lost her precious daughter to SUDEP and she was not aware that seizure could kill either, but now she is making others aware, including doctors.

My heart goes out to you.
 
Thank you all for responding to me.....I really need the support. I am in denial that this horrific thing has happened to me.
 
So sorry to hear about your daughter , my heart goes out to you and your family . I hope time can begin to heal you , and allow you to keep only those wonderful memories of your daughter .
