My Dr had an interesting suggestion on how to get off of Vimpat

The reason I started taking Vimpat 2 years ago was because I was trying to replace Tegretol due to side effects related to Thyroid and possibly Testosterone. The short story is Vimpat didn't work and I had to go back onto Tegretol. My Dr suggested getting off of Vimpat since the point of taking it was that it be the primary medication to control the seizures and it didn't work. I take 200 mg twice a day. He suggested stop taking the night dose because it would let me know right away if I really needed it and I would still have the day time dose to control the seizures. I am thinking of trying to because I am wondering if the Vimpat is interfering with me sex life. Sorry for the TMI.
