I am happy to find this forum. I came across it while doing some research on neurofeedback and read Rebecca's story. My 8 yr old has epilepsy. He has generalized seizures which cause many instances of head drop types of moments. We are about a month into the modified atkins diet but haven't seen any improvement yet. Still tweaking the diet as I think we haven't been giving him enough fat. Hoping to start neurofeedback soon. Will be difficult as the closest facility we can find is an hour away and we have two other children. Hoping that Barnard can tell me more about who they've used as he lives close to us. Have been working on finding the cause and cure for Braden's epilepsy since he was two - so for the last 6 years.

Welcome to CWE. I hope the diet works for your son. I know even just from using Atkins for weight loss, it can be tricky to get the fat proportion just right. Good luck with that and the neurofeedback.

We saw Dr. White on the other side of town (about 45m - 1h drive each way depending upon traffic).
