After starting back on the Carbatrol a few weeks ago, I got the call today that my levels look great! :) The doc wants me to continue to take the Carbatrol with the Keppra XR. If anything comes about, let him know! Otherwise I see him again in June!

Im just so thrilled that the low dose of Carbatrol is working! :) :rock::roflmao:
 
That's awesome. I just had another bloodtest yesterday. (two this week). Hopefully it will be a good result. Doctor said he will leave me alone for a while if this one comes back ok.

Thank you everyone! My gut told me things would work out. I was on Carbatrol from the age of 17 to 29, and had no problems. Im just glad the seizures are under control now! :)
 
Yay! Must be nice to finally have the right meds (and the right neuro).
 
That's awesome! That has to be a relief knowing you don't have to fiddle with with getting the right amounts now.
 
WOOO!!!!! I'm so glad to hear this. It's such a great feeling knowing that everything can be under control :)
 
Yes it a huge relief knowing I found a good neuro to listen to me, and help me control the seizures! :)
