I picked up my meds earlier today and found that he had approved a 3 month supply on both meds! Last time I had a 3 month supply was, of course, 3 months ago with vimpat, I was only given 1 month with lamotrigine.

I'm not too sure why he approved 3 months for both, but it's good not to have to call my pharmacy for that long. I can only think that perhap's he's taking a vacation for awhile so he approved it to not be bothered.

With my insurance, I have no choice but to get a three-month supply, and it has to be ordered online. I'm not complaining! It makes it easier all around.

My insurance is 1 month at the local pharmacy or 3 month mail order. I prefer mail order so I don't have to bother with going to the pharmacy, and it's usually a bit cheaper. All the meds I'm on are generics though so price doesn't really matter anymore like it did, THANK GOD.

Hi reasebiunne,

I'm glad to hear that you were able to get the 3 month supply. I found out that all my Dr. has to do to get me a 3 month supply is write a special code to the pharmacy when they send them the perscriptions. In the long run it saves me money and I don't have to run the pharmacy every month. Wishing you only the best and May God Bless You!

Sue
