Well i'm soooo excited. Today I had my pre-purple day stall (as Purple Day is on Monday and i'm working then) at the local shopping centre. I sold Epilepsy Action Australia (EAA) pens, wristbands, shoelaces and homemade purple cupcakes. I am very proud of my kids. I know I wouldn't have achieved half as much without them today. Joel is such a little salesman too hahaha he is so funny. I *think* we raised $713.60 today (that is what i counted) but I will wait til the bank does the final check to say for sure.

That.is so cool and for what a really great cause we need to raise as much awareness as possible as purple day comes up how many people still have no clue or dont want one I had a medic almost swingon me cause I came oit of a seizure little more violently then he wanted dont stand over.somebody

That's great Trinity

Well done to you & your kids

I'm giving them away for free tommorow :) Because i don't feel comfy asking $$$ for support ribbons.

The way I see it people are usually happy to buy things which will support a charity. Purple Day is about awareness but it is also to help support Epilepsy charities. We didn't have ribbons this year but we had wristbands, pens, purple shoelaces and cupcakes. With exception to the cupcakes all the other products were ordered from Epilepsy Action Australia and I could not have afforded just to give them away anyway. Good luck for tomorrow.
