Hi,
Ive had Parkinson since 2009.In oct 2014 i started getting these strange movements.Doctors are puzzeledand >They seem to come after Im moving around alot and stop and rest.I also get a painful twitch usally in my legs beofre the jerks start.They also are worse if i dont eat and also are worse after Im driving.It seems if Im concentrating they hold off.When im low on levadopa doesnt help either.I wondr if any of you are familair with these annoying movements.For me they seem harmless yet offend people somewhat.Well others are alot worse off but I sure would like to know what i really have LOL

Sort of sounds like a type of paroxysmal dyskinesia, or even a type of dystonia. There is still much to be learned about both these conditions. I have some kind of dystonia or dyskinesia that doesn't fit into any of the more commonly known categories, but am fortunate to have doctors trying to figure it out.
