I just registered for the walk in D.C. I am just curious as to who else on here may be going. I live in Maryland (30 minutes away) and could not pass up this opportunity.

I will be there!

My wife and I are making it part of a longer vacation. I was there 2 years ago with a group of teen boys from Cincinnati Ohio. That was a great experience. I am really looking forward to it again!

I have pictures in my albums from 2009.

I am also meeting with a staff member from my congressman's office the next morning.

Anyone else going? If you can, it is really worth it.

Whomever is going - we should have CWE meet up while we are all there. How fun would that be? I can't wait to go, it i will be my first year and I am looking forward to it. Plus I get to show support for my son and all of you guys :)

I will send you some contact information and then we can meet while we are there if you want.

I am planning on taking my wife and kids to DC for that weekend. Along with the march for epilepsy, I would love to have my family (and myself) visit the capitol while we are still living in Virginia.

So I have officially registered myself and my familly for the walk. It should be a fun weekend, and I am excited to tour the capitol. We only live about 3 hours away, but this is the first time that I will be taking the kids there, and my first visit in about 15 years. I doubt I will get to go again any time soon, either. I was wondering, besides us three already listed on here, does anyone else plan on attending?

Have fun on your walk! It is coming up soon. And thank you for doing it.

Hey all. I just wanted to say that I had a great time at the epilepsy walk in DC. Although the weatherman was correct about the snow, it only happened early in the morning. The rest of the day was beautiful, but a little chilly. It was also a pleasure to meet Buckeyefan, and his wife. Hopefully we will be able to do it again next year, and maybe meet a few more people from here.

Back home now as well. I agree with everything SeizetheNight says. It was really a great experience. He is a great guy.

I also got to meet mlbandura. She is a very devoted mother and new fighter for our cause.

Though the weather was cold, it was relatively dry. We enjoyed our two days in DC with the Cherry Blossoms starting to bloom. It was hard to believe it when they said they were not yet at the peak. It seemed like they were everywhere.

I met with a staff member of my congressman to discuss epilepsy issues. I felt it was a productive 45 minutes. As we were leaving our hotel, I saw the president's motorcade driving past.
