I was just wondering why we get nausea or vomit after a seizure? I get both sometimes and I don't understand how come all the action is going on in the brain yet I end up being sick?

The easy way of understanding it is your brain is very complex, it is like the engine of your body deciding our reaction to different things, so your senses and muscles are affected thus producing the different feelings and senses that may effect us. This is the easy way for me.

:agree:

The cranial nerves play roles throughout the body. For instance, the vagus nerve, extends from the head past the trachea and espohagus, continuing on down past the heart and the stomach. It plays a role in the control of the heart and digestive tract, including the movements that help you swallow and keep food down.

Thank you for your replies. My Neuro mentioned the cranial nerve a while back on his report. You know what they're like though-never fully explain things.
