My husband and I got into a pretty heated argument Thursday night. I have been stressed about work which has been stressing him out. I explain to him that my work stress is MY stress and he doesn't need to let it bother him so much and that's when he tells me how worried he is. Lately I have been having complex partial sezures and can tell it's leading up to a generalized or two this summer. They always get worse in the summer and the complexes get frequent like these 3 or so a week) when I'm getting close to having a generalized.
Well apparently this whole four years since being diagnosed my husband has been so scared that something would happen to me and so worried that my stress will cause a seizure and something bad happen and he's just been holding it in. He doesn't talk about it ever.
I want to find an article that would help him understand how my epilepsy works and also help him understand his role and what is and is not his responsibility (like preventing the seizures is not his job, supporting me after is)
Any links or suggestions? Advice?
