Neurofeedback -- big step!

Hello--

I have been researching neurofeedback therapy here on CWE and the net.

There are three providers two hours away. I called one yesterday and will finish up with the other two today.

We can I guess have a few start up sessions and then work from home with leased equipment. The provider will access our information via computer.

$70- per hour for sessions and $300-$500 to lease the hardware and software for the year.

Does this sound reasonable?

Sounds like a good deal, assuming it's not too hard to get up to speed with the equipment and sensors. Keep us posted on how it goes. I'd love to try it but it's a bit too expensive for me right now.

The price sounds reasonable to me.

It sounds very reasonable to me also.
However.... just make sure that you have a good number of in office sessions prior to home therapy. There is a lot of adjustment to be made before levels will be found that improve brain function. It can be very sensitive where sleep, and emotional levels need to be monitored.

Definitely rent the equipment. it will go a long way, thats only 4 hours of session. so its well worth it.

Going to this link I found a provider to contact 10 minutes from my home!!!!:woot:

Tomorrow I will call her.
