Yes it does seem to be a good field Bernard. He is told that he will most likely be picked by an employer over other college grads just because of his discipline. He does have a nice college fund to use too if he is so inclined to learn more. I am going to encourage it.

Morgan - Eric is also a Marine. He enlisted last February. Did bootcamp in San Diego, was at Camp Pendleton for his MCT training, and then his MOS was at 29 Palms. Where will your husband do his classes? Are you on the west coast now?

They used to

assign your military occupational specialty, unless you did a wizbang job on the entrance exam. I was supposed to be just a communications person, until they decided that I was smart and assigned me to electronics repair.
This was in the age before personal computers.
(Which makes me older than dirt according to some kids.)

Can you believe how fast this year went?
Eric left for bootcamp last February 17th. He is currently stationed at Miramar CA.
This is an air base where The Blue Angels are stationed. I can't wait to go to an air show.

Eric turns 21 next Saturday as well.

Good for both of you. You must be very proud Robin.

It's hard

to believe that time has flown like this Robin. I'm so happy for you, and for Eric, both.

:)
