I am new to the epilepsy scene. I've been coping with and receiving treatment for 2 1/2 years and I hope to learn alot. I've been told I can not drive, so how do I get to work and back, when you work for yourself? I will want to identify my triggers. I will try to start my journal when my/if my next seizure occures. I will try to stay stress free! Yeah right!:e:

Hi Paint Master, welcome to CWE!

Best,

It must be stressful not being able to drive. Is public transportationspelling available nearby where you live? good idea keep a journal. And bring to the Dr next time you see him.:e:

I'm glad you found CWE.

I have learned alot in this forum.

I hope as you search through, you will find information that will help you.

You can always start a new thread if you have a question.

Welcome PM to CWE
I am sure the changes to your health has come out of the blue, and has caused you to face new challenges.

My daughter has not been able to drive yet, but she has learned to manage by taking public transportation. It can be done. She also is going into her 10th month seizure free, and she remains med free following making major nutritional changes.

I hope you find the support here like I have.

There is no public transportation here and I operate my own business. I paint houses, so you can imagine how difficult this will be. I am one of the fortuneate ones. I have been able to stay busy through this economis mess. Now it will be time to be creative. I may have had a seizure last week. The first in over 1 1/2 years. So now I must start all over and try to adapt for work. That is my biggest concern. I think my eating habits must improve along with my sleeping habits too. That I feel is what triggered this last episode.
