Hello, I am new to this forum. I was diagnosed with complex partial seizures when I was 15. I have been on many different meds over the years , but have never had complete seizure control.

Three years ago I had surgery to implant a neurostimulator and am currently taking 1200 mg of carbatrol. I'm still having about 10 seizures a month.

I am looking forward to being here with others who deal with the challenges of living with Epilepsy.

Hi Mel... my daughters seizures began at the age of 14.
We have found and now it is being confirmed that her seizures were related to poor nutritional choices and possible sensitivites to foods.
My daughter is now med free and seizure free for 5 months.

Welcome
