hi ladies , my name is Laronda and i have been suffering so much with epilepsy. I was hit by a car at age 12 and ever since then i have been on medication for ever. My parebts never did anything for me to see about what they could do to help me get surgery or stuff, well they just worked and worked..but i am now looking to see what are the risk of me getting surgery done or some kind of treatment, i aint that young nomore, i am 49 and still wondering if there is hope for me! Any suggestions? thank you!

If you're considering surgery, probably the best place to start is with your neurologist -- he/she can let you know whether you would be a good candidate, and what steps are involved. And CWE members should be able to offer you plenty of advice as well.
