I'm happy to find a place where there are others who understand all the side effects we can get from our meds. Right now my problem is that if I take the prescribed dose of my meds (Keppra, Lamictal and Vimpat) I end up sometimes getting dizzy. I can tolerate the dizziness because it usually doesn't last that long. However, the seizures are not totally under control. I wanted my neurologist to up the dose of one of them a little to see if I can get control but if I tell him I'm getting dizzy I'm not sure if he will. Also, I can't keep it a secret because my husband watches me wobble across the room. Any suggestions?

If u up the dose dizziness will get worst and no gurantee u will be seizure free only reason I tell u not a good idea personal experience and im on 2 of those meds was also on the other one bad reaction

Welcome and I hope everyone here can ease your problems when you have them. Everyone here is great. As for the pills. When I started Keppra XR I felt pretty dizzy for sure but it went away very quick. I never took a very high dose of lamictal but its increase did make me dizzier then normal. Though we are so different it's hard to say. Whatever choice you make let us know. I hope things work out for you.
