Hi to all,
Posting on behalf of my sons, both are in mid 20s, and have seizures. Both are taking seizure control meds that appear to work. My oldest has grand mal seizures and takes two drugs..my youngest has partial seizures and takes Keppra XR. They have both been dropped from my insurance. Our challenge is finding a patient assistance program that will help us get brand Keppra at a reasonable cost. We are paying $1300.00/month for brand Keppra XR, and money is getting scarce. Any help that you guys/gals can provide is greatly appreciated. Thanks

I have the same issue and I am on disability for E. Have been since I went into status and could not return to work. But I KNOW that Rite Aid kicks in 50 dollars or the drug company....I even have an exemption as I have seizures on the gen but ha discount none...furthermore the lady at medicare said that any insurance that they take does not cover it and I am getting a deal....at $215/month :(

I have heard if you contact the drug company direct, they may be able to help. Worth a shot. Good luck!

All,
Thanks for your support. I'll keep looking and keep the forum informed.
