Hi I'm Ken. I've had epilepsy my whole life. I have been on several different medications and am currently doing well on Trileptal and Keppra. I haven't had a seizure since 2007 (knock on wood)

I'm excited to be a part of this group and share with you all!

I've also had E. all my life. I always thought I was lucky that way because it's just normal for me.

Congratulations on going so long without a seizure. I think the longest I've ever gone without one is about 10 days. Recently they've been averaging more than 1 a day so I'm pretty happy that they're mostly partials (wow, I really am a lucky guy)

The people here are great. I don't think I've ever seen such a supportive group & the amount of information some of these people come up with is great.

Meanwhile make yourself at home, accept your complimentary coffee :cheers: (we do have herbal tea if caffeine is a problem) and check out all the different rooms in our party.

Congrats on finding a lifestyle that keeps the seizures away. This forum is a great place to visit when you need others to understand how you feel.

Ironically it seems like my seizures became under control soon after I acquired a really smart, fun and playful dog. She probably lowers my stress levels. That seemed to break the pattern for me.
