Hello to all,

Let me introduce myself to all. My name is Carol and I've had seizures
since childhood. I came upon this site by searching the net and glad I found
this Forum. My interest is Equine Horseback, it gives me confidence and
stability. But, sometimes like last week, I had a grand mal seizures which
really set me back. As they say, I'm going to get back on the saddle once more.:rose: Thank you all and glad to meet you.

Im new to this site and to seizures. I hope to meet people that will share with me. Welcome.

Hi libann and rowlanhere,

Welcome to the forum. I'm new here myself. I'm sure you will feel as welcome as I do already. Everyone here will make you feel at home and comfortable.

It has been so helpful to me to have other people to talk to that are going through the same problems. I don't know about your situations but I don't know anyone who has epilepsy so this site has been wonderful for me.

There is a lot of information on this site, look around and you'll find a lot of useful things and a lot of friendly people!

Chris

Hi Carol :hello: Welcome to CWE! This is a wonderful group of people to be a part of. Make yourself at home. Pull up a seat and have a look around. There's all sorts of encouragement, inspiration, and information waiting to be discovered. We're glad to have you here!

:) It's great to have you here as well, rowlan :)

Hi Carol! Welcome to CWE. :) Feel free to chime in, ask questions, or just vent. Heaven knows we all need to at some time. :) I think there was someone else here on the site that also horseback rides. Personally, I'm not a very good rider, but I do enjoy riding when I get the chance. :) Can't do it now thoughl..pregnant. :) ANyway, welcome to the forum!

Hi Carol, welcome to the forum. :hello:

Hi Carol - Welcome
Animals are good healers, in my opinion. I know there are camps where they use horseback riding as such. Of course take precautions. Yet, if my daughter can continue doing double jumps in an ice rink, you should not be taken off of your horse.
