Hi,
I just started having what I would recognize as seizures last summer, though this has been going on for years. I have simple and complex partial seizures that range from a weird feeling to a collapse of the right side of my body and loss of consciousness. At their worst they were occurring pretty much daily.
My neurologist started me on Kepra about 6 weeks ago, and after a few weeks of unpleasant side effect (including what I just learned is referred to as Kepprage), I am, so far, nearly seizure-free since New Year's Eve. Yes, I know that's only a few weeks, but that's a big change from collapsing every few days.
Of course, I also lost my driving privileges, which has been pretty rough. I live a half-hour drive from ... well pretty much everything.
