I know I am having these seizures . Now the question is they have changed . After the seizure occurs can it wake you up? I went on an anti depressant 8 weeks ago , pristiq and heldol . I know I am being sleep deprived but I think after I wake up in the middle of the night I think I had a seizure . Is this possible? jenn

Do you mean Haldol? This is an anti-psychotic used for mania and bi-polar disorder and could possibly cause seizures. If they are bad nocturnal seizures, they could certainly wake you up.
It could also possibly cause your prolactin level to change.

yes that is what I meant . The thing is that I am not bi polor or anything like that . The dr. put me to high on a dose of onfi and I got very confused so I went cold turkey on 20 mg. of paxil and was close to suicidal . that is why I am on this med. I tried going off it again for a few days but without the Haldol I started going crazy again in my mind . I don't shake or anything like that during my seizures . I don't have bruises or I don't bite down on my teeth , I just wake up feeling trembling in my body and not right . this Haldol does give you seizures as I found when I researched it . the problem is I will go nuts if I go off it . jenn

I am new to all this but I go to sleep jerking and wake up jerking and cannot get back to sleep but just get up, only thing I have found is if the alarm clock is set and it goes off before I naturally wake I don't jerk until late after I have been up a while. Still not sure if I have epilepsy as been told it is True Myoclonus but cannot get definite answers.
