Is it possible to have 2 seizures (the grand mals) and never have them again - ever? Say the person who had them doesn't do illicit drugs but it was maybe caused from Melatonin 3mg, olanzapine 2.5mg, mirtazapine 30mg p/day instead?

I'm curious because maybe it was just two times and never again? Possible?

And as far as auras go. Can they be just a mental conviction that you're about to spaz out? Must they be more serious?

Go in depth about auras if you can, Id appreciate it. Thanks.

It is possible for seizures to be drug induced, but I have no idea if the ones you listed have ever been associated with a risk of seizures.

Both Mirtazapine and Olanzepine are associated with an increased risk in seizures.
Melatonin is not - this is a natural product made by the brain to aid sleep.

If you're taking these medications your doctor really needs to bear in mind the medications you're taking when interpreting your EEG as they can have a bearing on the findings.

Thanks Anna!

P.S. Welcome to CWE. :hello:
