Hi Kelly

It is so good to hear great news!! Congratulation!!. He can still become a genius. Some epileptics are geniuses.

Hi Kelly

He is smart. I can tell by the smile on his face. How many children that age know to smile for the camera. He cannot fake that. He knows!! He is going to be brilliant. A lot of epileptics grow up to be famous. Why not your boy?

I agree feast, my boy can do and be anything he sets his mind to, epilepsy or no epilepsy! He has such determination already, I know it will serve him well in the future even if it is trying for mummy now!

I love reading about success stories. :woot:

Hi Kelly

You are a great mother and setting a fine example. Keep us posted!!

UPDATE

We saw our paediatrician today for a check up. He was as impressed as us that Aiden hasn't had a seizure since we last spoke in December so that was nice. He is now taking him off 1 of his meds so fingers crossed he stays seizure free while we are doing that and is ok with just the 2. He also reminded me why we love him so much, he asked when we were planning #2 and I said we weren't sure because of my meds and my neuro wasn't much help. He knows my neuro so it was a gamble saying anything but the paed actually gave me more info than the neuro had and he is sending me an article he read recently about pregnancy and AEDs. He also told me to make an appt with neuro where we didn't talk about me at all and to basically pin his balls to the chair and make him talk (his words, not mine!) I wonder if I call his receptionist to make the appt if I should ask if I need to supply my own hammer and nails or if they will be provided...

Lolol

I do like your pediatrician, Kelly! He sounds a lot like my kids' old one, before he retired! He did NOT mess around.......and cut to the quick of things.

What a hoot!:bigmouth::roflmao:

Wonderful news!! Im so happy for you. YEAHHHHhhhhh

Hugs for the baby from us

This is absolutely AWESOME to read and hear!

:woot:

10 WEEKS!!! So far so good with reducing the Lamictal so here's hoping that continues.

ps Received the info from our wonderful paed about pregnancy and he even went as far as writing notes to explain all the medical jargon. What I read sounds very promising and makes the thought of baby #2 a little less scary!
