LOL McGill.

Cinnabar,

Let's go shopping! Must warn you though, I can be a bit aggressive if there is a sale! Hope that doesn't embarrass you. :noevil:

Are you kidding! No . I went to Marshalls yesterday which just opened up with plenty of sales. The aisles there are very narrow so there were the shopping cart wars. One lady was bumping my cart. So, I said "Lady, there's no point to this, I'm in the right lane". She hurumphed, went in reverse and I had a smooth ride down the tops aisle. I will speak up!
:pfft: But this doesn't come close to beating your priceless story!

I'll add a bit more to the hospital saga: All the patients are told that they're supposed to get exercise while in the hospital, yet in a critical unit where you're being observed and assessed for neurosurgery, the only way we can do this is at night when the visitors have gone. Further, the only tools for exercise were wheelchairs. Once the physiotherapists had gone for the day and the visitors were gone, we started having wheelchair races in the corridor. In the MNI where I was, there is a ramp between 2 different units.

Once the coast is clear, off we go, down the ramp flying away and giggling like children who have found a new hidden treasure. We're having fun, naturally, and we didn't run into anyone which was an added bonus. The staff couldn't really chastise us b/c we were doing what we were told to do, taking everything into consideration! :D

McGill, that sounds like a great one! As a little kid, I escaped out of my hospital bed and went for the elevators for a thrill ride.

Hahahaha, awesome!! Totally sounds like something I would do. :)

McGill and Alivenwell,
LOL. Nothing like a little hospital fun!

Cinnabar,
You are my kind of shopper! I have a low buggy-bumping tolerance. And for the general public, whatever you do, don't let your ten kids block my view of the shelves! :soap: My usually-collected behavior mutates into a beast if there is a good sale. My hubby usually just takes our son and walks away. He acts embarressed of me...humph....some people! ;)

In all honesty though, you can't be a "shy shopper" and be the one that walks away with $5 Docker's shoes, or $4 Levi's jeans. :agree:

Oh well, I never claimed to be "normal"...just fun!
