Hi everyone, mum and I are heading to the hospital now. I'm still nervous but I'm looking forward to meeting the nurses who seem like good fun. Let the itchy head and brain games begin!

Will keep you in my thoughts, hope the seizures come when you want them to so that you can get some answers! :) :hugs:

Good luck Wobblez,
Hope you get some answers.

Good luck and I hope you get your results as quick as possible so you can go home and enjoy your own comfy surroundings!

Thank you everyone. I've spoken to the neurologist and he seems really nice. He's taken me off my meds immediately and will probably start the sleep deprivation over the next few days. My bed is comfy and the nurses are nice so can't complain ;)

Good Luck Wobblez! I hope you are able to get out sooner rather than later :)

Me too Huskymom :) I'm now due for my evening dose of Lamictal but I've been told not to take it. I'm starting to feel a bit off so we'll see what happens over the next 24hours.

Good luck Wobblez! I hope your stay is as brief/productive as possible. Keep us posted!

Hi everyone, well today is my first full day of monitoring. I slept incredibly well last night. I did have some very minor aura sensations about 10pm last night but nothing worth pressing the alarm for. Today I'm feeling weak and dizzy without my Lamictal, but I'm surprised I haven't had any partials yet. I think if I was running around living life, they would happen quickly, but I am confined to my bed. I haven't got a laptop yet but when my friend lends me hers later today, that will help provoke seizures because of the mental focus!

Good luck Wobblez, hope it's not too tedious being in hosp and that it proves worthwhile x

Hi JaneC,

Its a lot less tedious now that a friend of mine has visited and lent me her laptop! I'm still surprised that nothing has happened, despite me being off my meds for 24 hours now. I guess its never clear cut with epilepsy.
