Hi,
I'm sorry if I come across as being whiny but I've pretty much been having non stop partials since this morning. I've had worse but I feel pretty rotten. I've had a nap but my head feels really thick and I just feel a bit out of sorts and I've got a banging headache. I get mine in my face mostly and my mouth droops and my check & eye twitches. My GP was kind enough to give me a quick once over this morning. I don't know what else I can do?

Thanks for listening.

I can sympathize. When I only have a few complex partials in a day they can wipe me out. I think I've had some at night the past few days, because I have a headache in the morning and feel super tired and out of it durning the day. Like I am right now. :( I wish there were something else to do about it. I don't know what. It gets discouraging, doesn't it?

Keep on keepin' on!

Has this happened before, and does your neurologist know you have had this before? Particularly if this is something new, put a call in to your neurologist. Did you ask your GP to contact you're neurologist for you if you were unsuccessful in reaching him/her - that is part of their job. In the meantime, make sure someone is with you today to keep an eye on you, or at the very least have someone check in on you frequently today to make sure you are okay - for a little moral support if nothing else.

Jen, I've had these before and I should be seeing my Neurologist very soon. This is my second week of taking Lamictal. I was in hospital a few weeks ago as I had them more severely non stop for 2 1/2 days. I live alone too so I get a bit anxious. My mum calls me every 5 minutes though lol. I just burst into tears at the Doctors today which isn't like me at all. I'm normally happy & smiley. Arnie, at least we can all come here for support, I'm really grateful for this site x

Angelita,

I also live alone, so I know what it is like having seizures when by yourself. At least your mum calls to check on you. Did your dr. address the crying issue at all? Sometimes depression can accompany epilepsy and sometimes the meds make us crazy. Lamictal is also used for bi-polar issues.
