partial seizures question

Do partial seizures lead to other types of seizures? I saw the doctor last week but I didn't ask enough questions because I was kind of stunned when she said she thought I was having seizures.

Mine started out as CP seizures and after several months I had my first TC seizure and ended up in the hospital. We've been thru many meds and had brain surgery to control them and now have the VNS.

So for some, yes, they can go on to other types of seizures. I hope you get yours under control.
 
thank you, I hope I get control too. I just took my first 25mg lamotrigine. I kind of scared after the allergic reaction to Keppa last week. Last week I don't think I was scared like I am now.

What is VNS?
