I feel really dumb asking this question, but I know they treat partial seizures with surgery if you qualify. But (correct me if I'm wrong) atonic seizures are a generalized seizure, right? Do they treat generalized seizures with surgery also? Or would they do surgery only to treat the partial seizures?
 
Wow, thanks for the link! That is so interesting. I had been under the impression that only partial seizures were surgically treatable, but I guess this is not the case.
