My beautiful daughter Rosie, who had a TC in the shower last weekend, is off on a music weekend with her school to a rather remote part of Scotland (ie scant medical services).

Meanwhile, her dad and I are having a long-planned couple of days in London. So we'll be 500-odd miles away from her. Here's hoping nothing happens x

Jane, when my Son headed to Australia for a few weeks my stomach was in a knot, 4 weeks later he returned after the trip of a lifetime (on boats the works) and not one seizure. I wish I had been easier on myself.

Will say a wee prayer that both your daughter and YOU 2 have a great time and that you all have well deserved wonderful weekend trips!

Here is hoping Rosie has a great time and you and your husband. Everything will go good with luck. You live in a beautiful Country and Rosie will see some more of that beauty, I envy her. Best of luck to you all.

:hugs: Thankyou everybody for your replies. We're all home safely and the weekend passed without incident. I even met another mum of a child with epilepsy yesterday, which was great. It was also nice to have a break from the usual worries.

Fed up, Rosie was staying in a beautiful old castle used as an outdoor and residential centre. Unfortunately it's about to close because they can't afford the upkeep. She was freezing at night because her window wouldn't close properly - but the view was lovely! Xx

Glad you all had a good time, tell Rosie I said sorry about the window. Sorry to hear its closing.
