This is something I knew nothing about, never even heard of until this morning and I could not believe it, I hope you find this helpful. Ireland at the moment is getting hit with heavy rain (a lot) and high winds of around 70 to winds recorded (where I live) of 123 miles per hour, it was not surprising when you hear of people falling into a river or something like that, but then I heard about "Neknominate". This is what happened.
There has been a call for facebook to with draw pages refering to Neknominate. But facebook has rejected calls to ban pages and videos linked to a "neknomination" drinking craze despite several deaths in Ireland being linked to the online dare.
One youngster bit the head off a chicken before his session started. I just think parents should know about this, to me it is unreal.
It seems there's a new trend in town: Neknominate. Seemingly invented by the Aussies, the craze has crossed the water and taken Britain and Ireland by storm. The challenge consists of filming oneself "skolling" - that's downing to you and I - copious quantities of alcohol in a short space of time, and then setting a challenge for someone else to complete.

One description, appearing on one of many Facebook pages set up in honour of the game, reads: "Neck your drink. Nominate another. Don't break the chain, don't be a dick. The social drinking game for social media! #neknominate. Drink Responsibly."
