I was reading about how pomegranate juice could be beneficial at reducing cholesterol, and help prevent plaque buildup in the arteries of the heart.

Both for myself, as a preventative to avoid taking more meds in the future, and for other older family members who may have this issue already, I thought I'd ask the forum, many of you I know look at alternative therapies, if they knew how much benefit pomegranate juice might actually be or if any of you had actual experience with it and what were your results?

I know this an E forum, but I figured it would be okay to ask, since anything that makes us healthier overall helps, and as I said, I'd like to avoid any other drugs in the future if possible since I already have to take E meds.

I drink pomegranate tea sometimes. It's a good way to get all the antioxidants without all the sugar.
The Republic of Tea brand makes a good one.
