Hi all, i m always tired, lack of concentration because of my drugs (lamictal + zarontin).
I m fed up to be like that so anyone as already tried provigil ?
Thks :-)
:hugs:

Haven't tried it myself, hopefully others will chime in. Can you ask your neuro about lowering your doses of lamictal and zarontin slightly to help lessen the side effects?

Given it's stimulant effects (it's precribed to narcoleptics to help keep them awake) provigil might be risky for someone with epilepsy:
Since it's meant to have a stimulating effect, it might not be great idea for someone with epilepsy. These are its potential side effects:
"excitation or agitation, insomnia, anxiety, irritability, aggressiveness, confusion, nervousness, tremor, palpitations, sleep disturbances, nausea, and diarrhea."

Plus, in the U.S. it's classified as a controlled substance and its availability is restricted, due to concerns about possible addiction potential.
