Hey guys

So im feeling kind of stupid and upset today.
I realised i wanted to start learning to drive
Ive already had 2 other licence and this is my 3rd one.
I have never declared i have epilepsy on them ( I know stupid right )
So now If i declare it im mare than likely gonna get the licence took off me and fined up to £1,000
It will be bad because i never said about it before. I could wait til renewal but its more than likely it will happen then.

Does anyone know a way out of this? or should i just live with my silly mistake?

Not sure what the rules are in the UK about this. Here in the U.S. it varies from state to state. In my state, you're not allowed to drive for 6 months after a grand mal seizure. But the neuro doesn't have to tell the Motor Vehicle Department why, and you don't have to tell them either.
 
Even if you are a learner driver if you have an accident and you haven't declared that you're epileptic you can go to prison in the UK - is it really worth that risk? Also you are putting other drivers, pedestrians and your instructor at risk in case you have a seizure while driving. In the UK you can get a free bus pass, I know it's not great but at least you can travel without having to pay. My daughter developed epilepsy last year at the age of 33 and has had to surrender her licence which she has found really hard as she had a lovely car and was so independent before this happened. She has to be seizure free for one year and have written verification from her neurologist before she can get her licence back - that includes dizzy spells and partial seizures.
It's not worth chancing taking your own life or someone else's just to drive, simply don't renew your licence and you'll have nothing to worry about and apply for a free travel pass.
