I slept an extra hour before wakeing up this moring and I've been cranky and tired all day. Could this be a sign i had a seizure in my sleep ??

If it was me, it might be due to the full moon.
There are a lot of reasons to be cranky and tired. If there are no other signs I would just journal that is how you felt, and tell yourself tomorrow will be a better day.

Chin up and do something nice for yourself

I know when I have a nocturnal seizure, even if I don't wake up like usual, I know because I'm not just tired physically but mentally. By that I mean it's really hard for me to think and I have to think really hard to process what is usually very simple information.

whenever i have seizures in my sleep i usually wake up with an unusually sore tongue, sounds weird i know but sometimes i even taste a lil bit of blood. that and i wake up very tense like i spent the night with every muscle in my body flexed.. but if i wake up cranky and not at the time i normally wake up its usually just a weird dream or things on my mind or something.. hopefully this was the case and it was nothing. goodluck

Maybe, but

maybe not. It could have been a bad dream, or you couldl have just been your body's need for more rest....

It could also just be a sign of poor sleep or sleep apnea. You finally fall into real sleep in the morning (and sleep late), but the rest of night you were missing out.
