I realize it has been a long time since I have posted but you are all always in my thoughts and I am afriad of jinxes. My son has an appointment with his Neor. Doctor Friday.

He has not had a SZ since December 22 (no jinx) are there or should there be any questions I should ask or inquire about?

Thank you all so much in advance. If you need other info please just ask.

Almost 1 year seizure free? That's fantastic!

How does that compare to previous seizure activity/frequency? To what do you attribute the recent seizure control?

Depacote, he started it Dec 27th 125 mg sprinkle morning and 250 mg sprinkle night and mainly got lucky with it.

Tregrotol did not work, trileptal allowed break throughs when sick and fiberal sz.

Plus no candy hehe

This is just ....

Awesome news to hear!

:woot:What a wonderful happening !!!!! Celebrate today! My son is depakote sprinkles.Happy, happy , happy! Dancing.

Wow, that is great. It is always so encouraging to me to hear someone is doing so well!

I do try to post happy things b/c I know when my son first started having SZ I went to many forums for information and found many of them had terrible grave news. I felt like I had no hope, well until I can here.

I am very superstitious person, as you tell by my jinxes. And I mean very superstitious and I do not post many success story as to fear of jinxing Danny.

It funny though, the longer he goes the more I wait for another one. Who knows, maybe I think too much. I cannot wait for him to learn how to read, he is 4, so he can read his SZ journal.

Thank you for all your thoughts and comments.
