This is a time to remember all those who have fought in the two world wars and overseas . . . to say thank you for their courage, and to apologize to those soldiers and civilians who have been injured or died that we as a human race still have to resort to armed battle to settle differences of opinion.

Yes, thanks are due to those who have suffered and sacrificed — and continue to do so — in armed conflicts around the world.

If you like your freedom everyday should be veterans day.

Thanks to all who serve and sacrifice.
