Nooooo, was too busy being unconscious this morning and missed Ireland beating Russia by 62 points to 12.

Missed the highlights too because I was at work by that point >.< oh well, will watch the next match next week!
 
Groan,looks like the Scots have blown it again,beaten by Argentina when we were leading with eight minutes to go,we HAVE to beat England now to have any chance of going through,you never know though fingers crossed.

Here's hoping Scotland do beat England! Was a shame they lost to Argentina when they'd been doing pretty well. I wonder how the USA did against Italy, I missed that one. Tough one to call!
 
I reckon if the Scots watch Braveheart a few times before the game,then we will go out and kick some serious ass,watch out England!!!!!!!

I think its on at 08.30 our time Lou.Its a shame its not on when the pubs open could have done with watching it with a few pints of Strongbow cider,especially since we are SUPPOSED to be getting this heatwave and all,mind you could always go for a victory drink after lol!!!
 
Indeed you could! A nice Magners would go down sooooo well in this weather! Unfortunately I'm away to work soon :( well, there's always the weekend! We normally get together at some point to discuss results and have some good craic :P

Yeah eight points!!! we aint done that since 1985 it says in the paper but as you say "should be easy enough",i hope so or you me and lou could be eating a seriously large slice of humble pie in this thread!!!
 
Lol I've had "Ireland's Call" stuck in my head all night now! (Irish rugby anthem is different to the national anthems, bit of info for those outside the UK/Ireland)

I will be rooting for Scotland against England though!

I missed the last 5 mins or so of the Scotland match because I had to go get the train to Manchester! Don't know final score but they were winning last I saw. Currently watching Ireland vs Italy. We need to win!

Yes! We are through to the quarter finals and will be playing Wales next week! Com'on Ireland!

Ok here's the quarter finalists, not 100% sure of the times though, I think I've worked it out right as UK times.

Ireland vs Wales 8th Oct 5am
England vs France 8th Oct 7.30am

South Africa vs Australia 9th Oct 5am
New Zealand vs Argentina 9th Oct 7.30am

Any thoughts?

Yeah Lo,i thought for a while the Scots were gonna do it,but alas no.But theres no humble pie for me because we played pretty good,but hey what can you do?

Still managed a few Strongbows which turned into a lot,feeling a bit fragile today,i think ireland will beat wales,france better beat england,not sure bout south africa v australlia and new zeland will beat argentina.

Im now cheering for Ireland!!!

Scotland played well, I really thought they had it. Mind you, they have a place next time round!

I'm hoping for france to beat England too (of course!). New Zealand have got to be one of my favourite teams to watch play. Unless of course its against our boys!
 
I dont think we need worry bout the English winning there gonna be to busy been lewd and suggestive towards any female to concentrate on winning any rugby lol.

Yeah i always remember that massive New Zelander,Johna Lumba or something,players tried to tackle him but they just bounced of him then he just dissapeared someone told me he got ill kidneys or something,but that might not be true.They are pretty indimidating those New Zelanders especially when they do the haka and all.

Dont worry Lou,im sure the luck of the irish will see you through!!!!

Omg there was an Ireland match this morning and I missed it! I thought it was tomorrow :( looks like Ireland are out, but on the bright side so are England lol.

I am now going to root for Wales and new Zealand :)
